Display the Attributes Column in Explorer

If you like to view your files using the detailed view option you may have noticed that the attributes column has disappeared. With the introduction of Windows 98 it was removed by default, this tweak adds it back.

Open your registry and find the key below.

Create a new DWORD value called 'ShowAttribCol' and set the value to '1' to enable the attributes column.

Restart Windows.

Key: [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Advanced]
Value Name: ShowAttribCol
Data Type: REG_DWORD
Data: (0 = disable, 1 = enable)
