Test File Builder

Recently, I had been tasked to test transfer rates for a long haul connection. Now, I could simply make an ISO image of a CD or DVD, and use that for testing.

But, no. Being the geek that I am, I built a program that can build test files of any size up to 64GB. Simply specify the size (in K) of the output file, the name of the output file, and click the button for the file you'd like to create. That's it. You can download it from the list of attachments above.

Newly added files are now give a hash using PowerShell, using the SHA256 algorithm. Here are the hashes for this file:
